Greetings to all.....Saw the posts about our good friend Whistlin Will, and had to add by 2 bits worth. My name is Ron but I go by the handle Preacher Flynn T. Locke. I was the Match Director for the 2018 Canadian SASS National Championships. The event hosted shooters from Canada, the US and European Union (Germany). We opened for business on Thursday before the match then held side matches Friday, with the main match Saturday and Sunday. Young Will was on the range early, and hard at it practicing away, ensuring his gear and hand loads were functioning well, and helping out where ever He could.
Mr. Will is a fine young Gentleman and I consider myself fortunate to be part of his Cowboy Action adventure. Mr. Will works hard to achieve his level of excellence and His earning top spot was only because of His dedication to practice and both firearm and ammo high performance.
All that said, there is another side to young Mr. Will I wished to share. This fine young gentleman is never to busy to go out of His way to help others. I have many times seen Will step away from what he was doing to help others. Mr. Will's Father, also very involved in Cowboy Action, is a stellar Gentleman and he both knows and promotes the Cowboy Way.....helping whenever and wherever needed.
Young Mr. Will achieved top honors at the nationals, but He has always been tops in the hearts of the Cowboys. He's cut from a unique piece of cloth and is a very fine young gentleman!
