All I did was go there to see if my paperwork arrived for the Browning 1911 - 22 I bought on Friday, had arrived .
I saw this Nearly mint-pinned, recessed, and spurred, Smith & Wesson Model 19-4, 6" .
Its a bit dirty, like dusty oil, and lots of smudged finger prints from my very thurl. inspection. very tight cylinder lock up, perfect timing, very light ring wear, perfect bluing front to back immaculate chambers and barrel is spectacular. payed $479.
Not to fond of 6" barrels but I just had to have this one.
I think I got a fair price .
this is the only pic for now, will post more pics when I get her home if there is interest.

Great find there. Sometimes you just can't find a way to justify not buying them.

I saw yours there JohnnyMac .
Very nice, I must say.
Originally I thought I might want to do something similar. but this one is just in a bit to good of condition to do it, at least for now .

I have one of those. It is the best gun I own. I think it was reworked by a former good gun smith from here. Wish you the best with it. It is not as heavy duty as say the GP100 so light loads are better I think.

That's an unfair price (for the rest of us who missed out on it). I've seen people asking that much for prohib Model 19s.

If you keep away from magnum rounds and use that gun with light target loads it will last a lifetime and then some. Nice score. I can't believe a dealer let a gun like that go so cheap.
