Local source for CZ75 hammer & springs?

I have a CZ75 SP01 with about 500 rounds through it and I'm not stoked about the draggy trigger, other than that it's a great gun. From what I've read about custom jobs, the most common mod is to upgrade the hammer, not the trigger, and lighten up the main and recoil springs. Can anyone recommend a gunsmith (preferably in Alberta) who is capable of that? Alternatively, I've looked at ordering parts online from CZ Custom or Cajun Gunworks in the States, but I'm hesitant to bring gun parts into the country. Should I be though? I'm happy to buy local, but can't seem to find anything.

I sure read lots about the CZ75 on these forums, but where is everyone getting their custom work done??

Thanks folks

"...not stoked about the draggy trigger..." New springs won't fix that. You need to do a trigger job and change the springs. I think Wolf Springs has CZ springs.

Thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately CZ Custom is out of stock of the competition hammers. I'll keep looking around.

Has anyone, as sunray says, done a trigger job on a CZ75? it seems from what I've read that a competition hammer and lighter springs are the most common mod.

Also try sending an email to Cajun Gun Works. They do not ship to Canada but I heard they have a Canadian retailer from BC. They do drop-in kits for Hammer and Sear. They might also have some spring kits.

Great advice! It turns out there is a gentleman in Canada who stocks CZ parts for Cajun Gun Works. I wasn't told where he's located, but I got his email address.

If anyone wants his contact info send me a PM.
