Well, I suppose I'd like to to start by introducing myself (shock and awe, right?). My name is James, I hail from Lethbridge, Alberta (Coaldale, originally, to be more precise), and I've just started getting into arms and everything that's involved in the sport/hobby. I was a farmboy, so I've got the basic experiences that went with that (done some hunting, varmint shooting, etc.), but I've been staggered, humbled, and otherwise awed by the sheer depth of the information, the skills, and the history that are all part and parcel to... this whole... thing that we all greatly enjoy.
My wife, Zaheera, and myself have (when time allows) been perusing as many of forums and sites dedicated to... well, the many topics related to firearms and their history, reloading and swaging of ammunition, and gunsmithing as we've been able to manage, and we figured that it was high time we registered on CGN (seeing as we've been lurking around here for close to six months, now). We're looking to join our local fish and game association soon enough, and I'm really looking forward to getting back into hunting this season (been a long while). Ah, right, we've also gotten our first reloading press (a Lee Classic), so we'll probably be pestering the reloaders hereabouts for some information on getting started in, well, reloading.
