Hey all new here have a Raven 556 on order with the option they're offering now with no handguard/barrel nut. Was just wondering for anyone who has swapped the handguard out or done any other gunsmithing on their Raven what products do you recommend? Looking at getting a vise but otherwise unsure about the best clamping mechanism for the upper.
The NcStar VISM & Wheeler Delta AR Upper Block both look really solid but unsure of fitment - do Raven takedown pins align with standard AR15?

The Midwest Industries Upper Receiver Rod has rave reviews but again unsure if this is compatible with the Raven?

Any other tools you recommend for doing work on the Raven platform?
Probably noob questions but I've never owned an AR15 (got PAL just last year) and this will be by far my most ambitious project in the last year of firearm ownership. Installing a new trigger in the X95 was a herculean effort and had to do it twice. That barrel lock was a real pain in the ****ing a$$.
Really appreciate any info you can provide to help out here. Thank you!
