Locktite vs clear nail polish on screws

You can 'make do' with a lot of stuff but why if you don't have to. I tend to use products that are formulated for certain applications but I'm funny that way.

Well, I've used nail-polish as weak-locktite-replacement for years. On cars/motorcycles/guns... I have yet to lose anything.

A wee dab of lacquer paint was plenty good for me on all of the above. Loctite in most flavors will breakdown many thermoplastics if not cleaned off quickly. Don't
get the stuff on the plastic parts of anything.

Great pic.

I guess Locktite vs nail polish its like the a window winter seal tape that i purchased for $$$$ just to discovered it's the same exact tape that I use to strap my hockey skate lasses $

get yourself a tube of the loctite 243 chapstick, no mess, wont drip on the plastic, tube will last a life time. tastes good too if you put it on when your drunk
