Loctite required?

Heres the Swiss Products aluminum scope mount. Only thing I would prefer would be a weaver base, as opposed to the 3/8" dovetail. It seems well made and a solid mount. The fact that its canted over to the starboard side, its a bonus for me as I am a lefty.

So I did use a tiny dab of Loctite on the bolt holding the mount on, but not on the ring clamp or the tube? Will they work out with shooting? Also, how tight can I tighten the top of the rings without fear of damaging the tube?
Thanks
Tim

Really don't need loctite on these mounts.
Try double sided Trophy tape on the inside of rings to scope tube surface.
Some cheap scope rings can be a problem.
Over tightening causes it's own set of problems.

Reason for 3/8" dovetail ring base and the offset is one and the same, to clear the ejected rounds from a top eject rifle.
