I'm planning on building a log cabin in the Rockys between Jasper and Banff but outside the National Park.....have some land there. Do any of you Alberta hunters know of a good log cabin company in Alberta that might be of assistance? Id like to buy a package deal and have them set it up......appreciate the help

friend of mine worked for a while with a guy out near Genessee west of Edmonton...

I think it was called Ironwood...or something like that guy's name is Paul , I might have his number here somewhere. We did some machining for him. He's an outfitter when he's not building log houses.

for us:) ......even sheeple from ontario?:)
Of course he means us CGN's from Ontario.:D
If we were part of the leftist sheeple cabal, we wouldn't be on this site, now would we?:p
We'd be on with PETA, NDP.com, KnittingToday.com and LieberalsRUS.com:eek:

There is a place in Cochrane that does very nice work, a friend of mine used to work there.

Have a look

Not sure what you are looking for as far a size and such goes. Are you looking for a log cabin or house?

Moose Mountain homes are very nice indeed, but the prices
There is a 1000' /1.5 storey log home shell advertised in the Bargain Finder right now. Located in Sundre, price $19,000. (PM me if you want the number)
I don't think you'll find anything cheaper.
Why don't you build it yourself? They aren't hard to build, just takes time and a strong back ;)

Yes they are pricey, but if you have seen thier work you would know why. They offer a course to teach you how to build them yourself, probably worth taking if you were going to build your own.

Good luck Randy! Let us know when you get her done so we can come for a visit ;) ;) :D
