I put it on a 1945 LB that was set up as a target rifle.
Anybody have a target rifle sling swivel for sale?

Also looking for a horzontial laminated stock. If anybody has one for sale please let me know.

Now THAT is a rare stock. It's not the post-war civial produced version made for DCRA competition rifles... that one was an experimental version patterend after the German K98k stock to see if there was any advantage to that stock oer the standard walnut stock in WW2. It wasn't adopted though as it was harder to produce than the walnut stock, a bit heavier, and only marginally stronger. It's a RARE stock and lovely looking too. Wish I had one! Did you buy it on a rifle, or as wood bits and then installed them? Got an overall shot?

I think what Claven's *really* trying to say is that he wants you to take lots and lots of pictures for another entry under the Milsurps Knowledge Library :p

Here is another pic.My camera is not the greatest.I only ever seen one other stock set like this in 20 years. It was sold by joe salter.

Well, the parts are out there. My father just gave me a set of top handguards, horizontal laminates. Probably 1/16" plies laid on the flat so the biggest surface is on the top.
