Long Branch postwar FTR work

Did the Long Branch factory or as it was called after the WW2,... Canadian Arsenals Limited, do any FTR contracts or factory rebuilds on Canada's large stocks of NO.4 rifles , as the Brits did with their N0.4...and the U.S. on the Garand rifles....or was FTR work done at base workshops by RCEME .

In Ian Skennerton's book "The British Service Lee there is no mention of a postwar FTR program , that is until , 1949,1950 when new rifle production was started.

I believe you'll find that any Long Branch made before the changeover in 1950 to parkerizing, which is greenish parkerized, was FTR'd at Canadian Arsenals. I've never seen a colour like that on anything else ever...
