Long Brnach N°4 rifles from Italian Navy

Some years ago and Italian Mylisurplus dealer had the possibility to buy 10.000 enfield rifles, n°1 and n°4 models and sub models, from the Italian Navy arsenal in Taranto. Before that big deal the prices for a N°4 and N°1 were extremely high, from 600 to 850€ and 1000€ for rifles with volley and cut-off sistem, and extremely rare. After that I started to buy many weapons from that dealer and also I went to the navy arsenal of Taranto to buy something, waiting a year for the Italian bureaucracy.

The Italian Army and Navy had the order to destroy all the ammunitions older than 20 years. Is a Miracle the Navy didn't destroy them like other thousands of weapons in the past.

Those are the one's that survived, many 1000's went up in smoke before someone pointed the historical significance and the money that could be made by surplusing them off.
