long range shooter

Over the last few months I have seen a number of posts from Alberta looking for some information on a seminar for long distance shooting. I am thinking of putting on a one or two day seminar on long range shooting. I was thinking of the following as an outline:
Ballistics
- Internal (i.e. what happens inside the chamber when the primer goes off?, how to determine the right load which is accurate in your gun, how heavy a bullet will my gun shoot?, etc)
- External (i.e. what happens when the bullet leaves the rifle, what affects the trajectory of my bullet?, bullet dynamics/spin/stability, shooting at an angle up or down)
- Terminal (i.e. what happens when the bullet strikes the target)
Terminology
How to zero a rifle?
Optics
- Quality
- Repeatability
- Ballistic reticles
- Ballistic turrets
Ballistic programs for under $40 which work on your iPhone
What equipment do I need to shoot long distance?
How do I calculate my gun/bullet trajectory and make a chart to use it out in the field?
I was thinking of about $400 with lunch included as a cost for this seminar. Location potentially in Calgary or Edmonton.
Any thoughts? If you are interested please note it in your response as I will use it to gauge interest. Also if there is something you want me to cover and it is not included, please let me know.
Just to manage some expectations I should note that shooting long distance depends on the quality of your equipment, the shooters knowledge, and the shooters technique. The goal of this seminar is to give shooters an understanding of what knowledge is required to shoot longer distances (i.e. 1000 yards) and the equipment required.
Thanks! I look forward to your responses.
