I have a ruger gunsite scout coming shortly. I want to mount a long eye relief scope on it.

I think it should be no more than 3-9 and could be a fixed between 4 and 7 power.

But I have no idea what scopes are available and the quality level.

I have to admit I am a Falcon scope fan. But I don't believe they make any LER scopes.

Does anyone have one that they would recommend? Or one they would sell for a reasonable price. I am not interested in red dots or holosights at this time.

Price should be less than 500.00.

Thanks for your input.

Weaver has recently added a fixed 4x long eye relief "Scout" to their classic K series. Cabela's Canada lists it for about $250. I've always liked the old Weavers so I tried one of their modern production, a V9 Classic and I like the quality (it's a 3-9x38 and I don't need all that magnification so I'm replacing it with one of their modern K4s with conventional eye relief.) I'm also working on a "scout rifle" project based on an Enfield No.5 and I plan to use the K4 Scout on that, but haven't got one yet.
