Long Lee At Last

Uh... Nice gun. You are not allowed to post ads in regular forums, and this a Canadian site. I believe the rule is that the firearm and seller must both be located in Canada. Unfortunately we can't simply buy a firearm from the us without export approval, unless the firearm is a verified antique.

I think he was just indicating what he paid for it.

Very interesting rifle! Good score!!

That is what I paid for it and it is not for sale.

That was pretty clear by the original posting....
An interesting piece at any rate, I'm sure it could tell a tall tale or two. That silver smithing is gonna be a conversation starter for sure...

Not QUITE 100% original but WHAT a conversation starter!

Verily, Sir, I drool!

BTW, you got that Treasure for a lot less than I would expect to pay for one here. Should not be too difficult to find a new Safety for her.

If you are ever interested in a swap, I have one here that already has been chopped..... save you the price of a hacksaw blade.... ;)

A lovely old thing. You must be very happy!

I wonder where she has BEEN, what she has been in the middle of.....

We almost never see a Long Lee of any form in the States they usually run $1000-1500 when one appears, so I jumped on this one. I will not even mention what a Ross Mk III goes for.

Neat piece! I have to say that the trigger guard looks a bit odd and I wonder if it might be a local production? Can you post some closeups, in particular of the markings?
