So i stumbled upon a long lee that a good friend of mine has. Its in very rough shape, and its been sporterized. Mag is missing and a lot of the safety parts are also gone. What would it be worth?
Sounds like one that was bought and stripped for parts.
You won't get any answers without pics.
From your description, it's a bitser/parts rifle with very low value other than the bolt and maybe bolt dust cover, if it's still there. Depending on which model you have the bolt head may be as valuable as the rest of the rifle. Sights?????

When you say sporter, do you mean the only wood, or the wood and the barrel, has been cut back? If the barrel is full length and the rifling is good then its worth bit more than if the barrel and the wood has been cut. Also the condition of the remaining parts have an affect on the price, so photos would help.
I have bought and sold a number of chopped up Mk 1 Enfields and the most I ever paid or received was 200.00. I've got a nicer one than you have (just guessing based on what you said) that I will sell you for 100.00.
I figured it wasn't worth much with a chopped barrel and no macaroons plus a bunch of missing parts. Thanks for the input! Unfortunately I can't get any pics of the rifle.
