Im going to be looking at doing some longer shooting this spring, at ranges of 400-600 yards

what would be a good paper target?

FWIW, I'll be using a Leupold VXII 4-12x40 AO w/ wide duplex & elevation turret

thanks

A hit on the black bullseyes or diamond produces a bright yellow-green ring around the hole. A shot landing on the orange border leaves a bright white ring. Either way, with a 20-25x scope you can easily spot hits at long ranges. These targets work great for 300-600 yard training.

The range I shoot at only goes out to 500 yards but with my Leupold 4.5-14 scope the 8" round Shoot.N.C targets are plenty big enough so they probably would work for you out to 600 yards as well. They have an adhesive backing and leave a fluorescent green ring where the bullet goes through so the holes are easy to see. I recently bought a pack of the 12" square sight in packs but haven't tried them yet.
