That looks like a cool course to take.

Too bad you aren't offering it out here on the West Coast.

Thanks MapleSugar.
I have not thought of going all the way to BC to teach this!
I use 3 other coaches to keep the Coach to Participant ratio about 1:4, so it would be expensive to fly out 4 people and accommodation, and would have find an appropriate range. I never say never though!

Yeah, it would be cost prohibitive and I don't think we have any ranges that even come close to that distance.

It would be nice though!

I hope that you all have a good time!

Thank you! I appreciate it.
Maybe there is a Military Range? If so would need a local Civilian Club that is authorized on that range to host it.
Something to think about for the future.

Thanks for your interest.

There is the General Vokes Range out in Chilliwack that is 600 m. It's the former military range for CFB Chilliwack.

I'm not sure if it's open still, but I think that civilians need to be members of the BCRA or DCRA to be able to shoot there.

Unfortunately, I can't find any current information for them.

I participate in the Intro to Long Range with my Dad in June and had a great time! Looking forward to participating into one of these 2 day courses, but need to purchase a rifle first haha.

Thank you

Any recommendations for beginners?
Yes! Start with Long Range Rifle Fundamentals Course - Part 1.
It's basically all the fundamentals which is the basis of any long range shooting. I will be running this course early next year.
Excellent way to start and yoi have time to get the correct equipment.
You can email Me at craig@coach-sammy.com for more info.
