Long Range Rifle Scope Suggestions

Hey guys & girls,

Looking for a reasonably priced scope for playing around at longer ranges ($400-700). I just sold a Sightron SIII 8-32 MOAR and don't necessarily want to spend $1K+, I don't do it enough any more to justify the money. I had a Bushnell elite but I would like MOA not Mils in the reticule. Hoping to get in the 6-24 magnification with target turrets, side parallax and again some type of MOA reticule. Does Vortex or anyone else make something like this?

Look used and expect to wait. LR is not something that you can generally get into on the cheap. Add in things like wanting a MOA reticle rather than MIL and it can be hard to find.

How "long range" do you want to go? For some people that's 500 yards. For some people that's a mile. Very different games and very different requirements. Do you plan on shooting paper or steel? You might luck into a used VX3 Leupold on the EE and be able to have a new reticle fitted to it, but your budget is a real handicap.
 
Thanks for the advice, I ended up finding the new Sightron S Tac line - MOA reticlules, side parallax, target turrets and 4-20x50 for around $800 new after tax and shipping. Reviews look really good so far.
