As the title says a few of the local long range shooters are thinking of putting on a long range shooting clinic. we will have a couple experienced shooters talk about everything to do with long range. i have talked to GLEN TAYLOR and he will be there to give a introduction into f-class shooting and everything to do with it. we have a nice indoor heated shooting facility to 200m and the possibility to go to 800m. this is just to see who might be interested so let us know and we will get a date and time.

2 more newbys here anxious to go, time and cost permitting. What does something like that usually run in costs?
What accessories does a person need to bring along? Does someone have a list of must have's and things nice to have, that they could send me?
Looking forward to it!!

One more newbie that is interested. This sounds great. Let us all know a time frame and costs involved.

right now we are shooting for saturdaydec 27/08. this being because of our jobs the next chance to put one on will be march or apr/09 so we are going to run with this and see how it goes. for the cost we are asking for 15$ per person for the use of the private range and insurance and if u have learned somthing of value that you make a donation to the shooting range. which i will post as soon as i have a 100% confirmation. ( should know tonight) once again none of us putting this toghether are masters of the game but we do know what works for us and what proper techniques a new shooter should try to follow. sooooooooooooo if ur able to get away from all the great family time with the inlaws please pm me and let me know if ur in. please dont waste our time by saying ur coming and then not showing up. thankyou

Well, how about that, I even have to be in Edmonton that day for my kids soccer tourney. If the times line up, this should work. Please give tentative start and ending times when you know. Thanks.

im thinking we will start around 8:30 am sunday morning and will have a class room session until noon then a quick break for a bite to eat and then we will start shooting. the shooting facility in a totally enclosed heated shooting station that will allow 5 shooters to shoot at a time. most of the shooting will be done in the prone position and there is nice wooden platforms to lay on. we will shoot until dark and then any final questions will be answered. you will need to bring
any rifle ( your gun must hold moa at 100m and have an adjustable scope)
40 bullets ( you can bring more but we will see how many ppl come)
a notebook
a lunch/drinks (no road pops)
any shooting equipment( bipod/shooting soc)
a positive attitude
well thats all i can think of now so any other questions just ask and ill let u know the location as soon as i get conformation.
