Hey does anyone know if there is a course around Alberta that will teach you the skills of long range shooting or snipeing I know they have them in the USA, taught by ex-miltary.

What part of Alberta? I have a name of a guy in the Calgary area that teaches shooting. I understand he's a certified sniper instructor. I'll have to see if I can find the website again. From what I remember, the price of the course was very reasonable. I'm hoping to take one of his courses once I get my 25-06 built.
 
I've never taken any of his courses before but I met him at the range one night a couple of years ago. He gave me a couple of pointers which was nice and explained a few different things to me. The price on his courses is very reasonable and I figured it would be worth the money. Im sure I'm the same as 99% of the people on CGN and have never had any real formal instructions on shooting. If he teaches people who shoot for a living, I have no doubt that I'll learn a thing or two.
