I just got an all matching 45 dated Longbranch.It was sold to the Pakistanis at the end of the war and captured by the Indians,It has an Ishapore screw.Love the wood and action but the barrel is really worn,Does anyone have a new Longbranch barrel.If so how much are they worth?Dave

I'll tell you your best bet. Start haunting a few gun shops, ask to see any Lee Enfield sporters they have in the $100-$150 price range.

If you get lucky, you might find a Long Branch sporter with an uncut, full length barrel on it, that you can transfer to the other rifle.

If the receiver and action is good, and not polished and blued, great bore etc., then maybe you can just swap the wood between actions! You'd be saving the cost of swapping barrels...

Finding a new Long Branch No 4 barrel is pretty rare.
