Longbranch DCRA value What's a fair price?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I have little knowledge regarding Mil-surps and their values. I tried looking in the "sticky" but not alot regarding the values of these rifles.

The Rifle in question is a 1949 Longbranch DCRA in mint condition with the Parkerhale apeture sight and bottom metal/magazine for 7.62

not sure what # this particular rifle is but it is one of the original conversions.

If you are refering to the one for sale at Accuracy Plus, its a nice rifle but a bit overpriced IMO - depends how bad you want one I guess

I have one of it can't post it. Did they even make LB rifles in 49?Very nice rifle but $1200 i don't know about that.

Have had 5 or 6 over the years including a '49. Condition and sight is important. Many DCRA guns have been "personalized" mercilessly over the years. Sold a clean '49 DCRA with Sterling mag for about $800 or 900 couple years ago.
