Longer shotgun chamber

If the barrels are not chrome lined it is fairly easy to do. If the barrels are chrome lined it requires a carbide reamer.

Take the gun in question to a gunsmith and ask, depending on chamber wall thickness, it shouldn't be a problem.
I had a Remington Model 10 lengthenned from 2.5 to 2.75 a few years back, and have no problems as long as the loaded round isn't too long for the action to handle. Most work fine.
In a single shot, or double, you would of course not have any issues from the action length, so it should be easy.
