Longest 2 3/4” shell?

Hey guys, building my own shotgun +1 tube extension and I found that 00 buckshot is the longest of the shells At 2 1/4 inch, does anybody know if there’s a longer shell than 00 buckshot ? Do different brands also have different lengths even with buckshot? I am leaving some wiggle room with about half an inch in case there is a shell out there that is longer than 2 1/4”.

If someone out there has challenge slugs and calipers I would love to know how long those are!
 
Challengers are 2 5/16” in length, Estate 00buck is a 1/16” shy of 2 1/2”. Shells are all over the place when it comes to overall length.


Sorry I meant 2 1/2” not 1 1/2” inches on the estate buckshot.

Thank you! I can see that estate shell has sort of a clear plug on top design rather than folded in outer casing, looks like I need to allow for 2.5”
 
If that is the case, just make it sit flush to the end of the barrel. I can get 5 rounds of cheap target loads in the tube of my 14" Canuck Defender (with some minor mods). The tube ends about 1/2" from the muzzle.

Ya you can’t get 5 rounds of buck, let alone 5 rounds of roll crimped. At minimum I think there needs to be room for 5 rounds of buckshot.
