since Hodgdon has discontinued HS7 has anyone tried Longshooot in a 38 super?

I tried it in 9mm and .45acp, as well as .357mag. You need to keep the loads on the high/max side or it's dirty as hell. When I was working up loads, I had cases that would come out black on the outside.....inconsistant ignition/low pressure. When loading near max it shoots pretty clean. Noisy as hell in my .45.....sounds like a magnum
