So the time has come to look at a bolt action 22. Yes that's right, I'm the one person who doesn't have one.

With the new Browning T-Bolt (I wasn't overly high on the old T-bolts as I understand most had salt wood) just coming into Canada (even though it's been a year for the dealers to get them it) and it got me started looking for a new 22. I've got some semi's and lever and though they might me a little lonely without a bolt.

Any comments on the A-bolt? I understand they are quite accurate, it seems the resale value on them is quite good and there is a 5 and 15 round clip available. I have a line on one NIB for $ 450.00. What kind of pros and cons has anyone experienced with the A-Bolt.

Just to let you know my favorite 22 lr is my BAR. It's got a tube mag. Not many around and by god it's accurate.

Thanks guys, I look forward to your comments.

Accuracy with the Browning A-Bolts .22 appear to be a hit & miss. No pun intended. I had a A-bolt .22 that was very accurate but others have reported accuracy with their A-Bolts ran from almost target grade to P!ss poor. It it best if you could to try before you buy.
