Hi, I've been looking for a new yote gun for my cabinet. I'm wanting a .223 or .204. Wanting a regular or lightweight barrel (22" barrel), synthetic stock and a detachable mag. I've narrowed it down to most likely a savage 11fcns but when looking at the rifles and comparing them, the gent behind the counter showed me a TC Venture Predator. I had never seen one before and was decently impressed with the looks and feel of the rifle.

I've tried to find some reviews or personal opinions on the Venture Predator but have turned up fairly empty handed. Does anyone have 2 cents to toss in on the quality or function of these rifles?

As far as my caliber choice of .204 or .223, the venture is only avail in .204 but can get the savage in either. I like both calibers for their attributes, but really feel they both are a great choice and can't really go wrong for my intended use.

Thanks. Joel

Well my 2 cents worth is i haven`t fired either one, looked at them in gun shop. Both will do the job, i came home with a Tikks T3 light 204. Everybody has different preference for firearms. Fit and function for your particular needs. That is about all the help i can be.

Go with the Predator you will thank me for it later the TC products are ahead of the competition accuracy wise... JP.

Well depending on where you're located (I'm in SW Ont.) You can come shoot mine. I have a venture in 22-250. I think it is a solid gun for the price.
