Im thinking of buying the lower first(stag arms with plain a2 stock) But I want to put a 16"flat top upper with a folding front and rear sight on it later in the year. Then a variable compact scope 1.5-5 or some such later on again. Im wondering if anyone has any pictures of how this might look? Also, with most of the folding sights, is there any loss of accuracy, or zero when moving them? Or would it make more sense to have a fixed front instead. Im not particularly fond of the look of the standard triangle front sights.

You know what would be cool, is a interactive picture where you could pick from a list of kit, you could build your gun from options and you get to see what it would look like before hand.

As for pics, you can look in the Picture forum http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19208, you may find some ideas. If you need MORE gun ####, look here http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=290310

If you are going to go the 16" version, may I suggest a mid-length gas system vs a carbin one.

Regarding flip sights, I can't say if they cause POI problems, I would venture to say that it would be negligable. When using a scope I like the sights to be out of the way, so for me it's a great advantage.
