In preparation for controlled hunt here in Ontario, Im on the search for a 20 gauge semi with a factory rifled barrel. About all I can find is the 11-87 from Remington.
Does anyone know of anything else in this class?
Was hoping for a Mossberg (im a lefty) due to the tang safety.

Thanks all ;)

I see that theres a Winchester SX3 with rifled barrel 20g

Now sure where to buy besides iIts on the Irunguns.com site

Why do you want Semi?

I just purchased a Savage 220 bolt action 20g with fully rifled barrel. Pretty sweet little gun, Very accurate out to 200 yards.

have one in left hand. Cheaper than a semi and my guess more accurate. http://www.lebaron.ca/pdf_files_fall12/win_101_sx3.pdf. Lebarons has the 20 ga listed. Need to call.

My guess is he meant that the 220 is cheaper and more accurate.
Reason i want a semi is to be able to put a waterfowl barrel on it for my wife and kids.
The sx3 looks interesting.
A barrel for an sx3 is bloody expensive and like 600 bucks. 220 is cheaper. You will never find a barrel for an sx3 and if you do it is bloody expensive. A paid 450 shipped on this site for a left hand 220. That was in the winter. Another option is a h&r slug hunter 20 ga. You can find them for around 250 shipped. Works for us left hand shooters. Or look for a mossberg 20 combo withe a bird and deer barrel. For the money that 220 is tough to beat.

Go with a Savage bolt action 20g. I've owned both Rem. and Savage , still have the Savage. Make your first shot count... after that you are hailing to Mary.

+1 The 20 gauge USH is what I really want, a buddy has the 12 gauge and it is super accurate (albeit rather heavy). IMO they are far and away the best bang for the buck in the slug hunting world.

For all of you who think a single shot is one and done, tell that to the three deer that walked up to his stand that all had tags on their ears within 5 minutes.
