OK, you might not believe this, but try Parks Canada - they have one of the best collections of historical Canadian firearms anywhere, and they have a warehouse full of very, very nice stuff. You might be able to get the actual rifles carried during WW1. The report I heard was "friggin crates of Enfields and Rosses, all C broad arrow, all greased" this from a PC employee who had to help with an inventory in Winnipeg, I believe.

It sounded like Aladdin's cave - brand new historical rifles, kept for the purposes of re-enactment, and military surplus from the beginnings of Canada including new Colt Navy pattern revolvers, muskets and accoutrements.

Try proline shooters in Calgary. They have ample supply of prop guns for movies. They supplied guns for the movie Paschendale.

They have done loan arrangements in the past for different groups.
