Looking for .22 Pistol Recommendations

Hi there,

My friend is looking for a "full sized" .22 pistol or a 9mm pistol with a .22 conversion kit. He doesn't want a 1911.
I have suggested he look at the S&W M&P 22, and the Glock 17, CZ 75, Beretta 92 and Sig 226 with conversion or practice kits. Is there anything else he should consider? Any cons to the ones I have listed?

i have the M&P 22 so that i can train on the cheap since i have the M&P in 9, 9 PRO, 40 and 45.
i like their system, all the frames (with the exception of the 45) are the same so you get a good feel for them and you can use the same holsters for them all so that is a plus.

a couple guys at work liked what i was doing and have done the same, none of them them or myself have any complaints about our decision to go with the M&P 22.

there is something to be said for getting a gun that you can just swap out the upper on to convert it to a 22.
i personally have none so i cant speak to it, but i can see the advantages of it.

i found them to be too small, not a real good Glock trainer, plus they are a hammered gun instead of striker fired like Glocks.
