looking for 243 synthetic reccomendations

I am looking to pick up a Vancouver Island deer gun/goat rifle in the 243 class. so far I have been looking at the savage axis, tikka t3, and browning synthetic models. I have heard that the browning synthetic model feels rather nice and doesn't get cold like the other synthetics. Looking for some advice or if you have any other recommendations let me know!

PS I already have a 30-0-06 so I don't really want to get a 270, or anything bigger as it is more than capable of handling any of BC's game besides the grizzly which I don't hunt.

Ok I'm going to say the Savage Axis.

The ONLY things wrong with the rifle are sometimes the trigger feels heavy on some of the rifles and especially right out of the box. Personally mine is sitting at 3 or 4 lbs and is perfect but that was after a hundred rounds. The other problem is the forestock feels a little flimsy. Personally I run a bipod and have no problems with the forstock.

Now onto the good. The rifle and scope combo cost me $450 after taxes or so. Everyone told me to not get the package deal with the scope because they said the scope was junk. Mine came from the factory with a Bushnell. I've heard that the newer Savage Axis scopes are no longer Bushnell though so be aware. But I've abused both rifle and scope more than anyone should to try and get the scope or rifle to fail. I have yet to have to sight the rifle/scope back in at all. It has always held zero.

The rifle is also extremely accurate. Using the cheapest Federal Blue Box 100gr I can easily put rounds at just under 400 yards into a 1.5" grouping. And I am not the best shooter there is. But I have also handed the rifle to a shooter who has only shot a firearm literally a handful of times and she put 4 rounds into 2-3" at 325 yards. One of those being a bullseye.
 
The Axis is a good gun if you can stand to look at it. I had a chance to shoot my buddy's 300 WSM X bolt this summer and was impressed with the ergos and the excellent recoil pad that comes on their synthetic. My other choice for a good synthetic stock is the Vanguard. Just feels like it fits to me.
