Good day everyone,

I've used 78 grains of IMR 7828 to try it with 300 grain OTM Hybrid Bergers (3.680 OAL) with my .338 Lapua with a 1:9 twist; works real nice...I've used Retumbo...looking for some other loads that shooters are happy with...

Let me know what you have concocted and the reason for the load development? (i.e. Accuracy, hunting, range length, external temp....)

300 SMK with 85grn of H1000
300 Berger 1st generation with 85grn of H1000

Use both because they work in my rifle.

Have used Retumbo once before. Worked nicely. Seemed to be a cleaner burn than the H1000.

300 Berger Hybrid OTM, 85.5gr H1000, 0.015" jump, FGM215M, Lapua Brass. Awesome down range results. It's a bit slow at about 2654fps, but still supersonic at a mile.

250 Accubond, 94gr Retumbo, 0.030" jump (just under mag length) CCI250, Nosler Brass. I plan on using this for hunting.
