Soon I'll be loading for my first 35Rem - a Marlin 336 Marauder with a 16 1/4 tube. Since I will be using it for bears, I want the most snuff I can safely produce. I'll using either 200 Rem RNs or 220 Speer FNs.

Buffalo Bore sell a special heavy load using 220 Speers at 2200MV from a 18 1/2" barrel. That's VERY powerful for the 35Rem. I'd love to know what powder they use for that.

Any ideas. Any pet loads or powder suggestions out there to help me closer to this kind of level. If I use the 220 Speer I really want to get it moving in the 2000MV plus range if doable safely. I think the Marlin 336 action should permit edging up from the 35,000 CUP industry max for the 35Rem.

I'm all ears.
