We have a small quantity of Remington ammo coming in next week.

That would be good as I'm the guy who bought the Model 57 today.

Other than Remington, only the odd, mostly non-exporting, U.S. manufacturers load it. The Buffalo Bore, Barnes, etc. Buy brass if you can find any.

So Winchester is one of "the odd, mostly non-exporting, U.S. manufacturers"?
They produce it in their Platinum Tip and regular Super X lines.

If you checked around at local stores they might be able to order it in if their suppliers have any.
Personally, for such a difficult-to-find (but not impossible) cartridge I would seriously consider handloading.

Got some good leads on loaded ammo so far. Hafta see how they pan out........

For the gun I just purchased will be more of a collectors item. However I may try and pick up a S&W Model 57 Classic.

In the 5 years I've had my BlackHawk, I've seen ammo once in store @$56/box and maybe twice at a show..for not much better. It's the reason I started reloading.
