I have some 325 g Hornady FTX pills to load for a 45-70 (newer Marlin lever), but in my collection of manuals, I see no loads listed for a bullet of that weight ... 300g yes, 350g yes, but no 325g. Anyone have any published data to share, or any known sources for the same? I am a conservative, by the book reloader, and have no interest in experimenting or pushing the limits ... just need to know what the limits are.

Hornady manual has data imr 4198 is what I use for the bullet with the trimmed Hornady case 2.040.. Must be trimmed if you want to seat to the groove and still cycle through the marlin.do

I was gonna suggest the Hodgdon site but somebody beat me to it...^^^^
Reloading for the 45/70 is very forgiving.......use load data for a 300 gn trap door, it's still gonna work and not hurt so much :)
