Looking for 5.45x39 ammo

Hi CGN’r,

I am looking for bulk 5.45x39 ammo in Canada. In fact, I didn’t find a single round for sale here. If you know where I can find some, please let me know.

There are large quantities for sale on Gun Broker in the US. Anyone has experience importing with Irunguns, ##### or others from a third party? Recommandations?

I know there are some restrictions on Russian products exports from the US. How about ammo?

SFRC had the hornady SP 60gr V Max , but is out of stock.
Otherwise, i have not seen any other type for sale in Canada.

..and get arrested for being unlawfully in possession of ammunition, unlicensed export of war materiel, and all sorts of other fun things - if they'll allow you to cross the border going south, and again going north. Dumb suggestion.

OP - I'm not sure that the round in question is NRC approved for Canada, especially in surplus form - you cannot import ammo that isn't on the list. You might want to check that first.
