Looking for 6.5X50 Jap ammo for my Arisaka carbine?

Sorry! You're right! I am looking for 6.5X50. I must have had a brain fart typing it in.

It is not the easiest stuff to find in Canada. I get mine from a gun store a hour and a half away from me (sorry he doesn't have a website). Also not cheap ($45 a box). It is usually just called 6.5 Japanese. From that people will know what you are talking about.

There are a lot of places in the states but none of them want to send to Canada.

If you want to spend a lot of time at gun shows you might find some singles available (usually at $2 a round) here and there.

Sorry I couldn't offer something a little more positive but when you do find the ammo you will love shooting your Arisaka.
