Can anybody suggest an outlet for the 686 Pro 7 shot Moonclips?

Please forgive my ignorance but why are moon clips required for a 686? .38 Special and .357 Magnum are both rimmed cartridges... I don't need any for my 6 shot 686...

Not required, but can be used.

The 686 Plus, is a 7 shot revolver that comes from the factory with the cylinder cut for moon clips. For competition where speed is involved, moon clips are definitely the way to go instead of speed-loaders. Plus it's much easier to pickup your brass after
