Looking for a 10/22 mag supplier

I'm looking for someone in Canada who sells 50 round Ramline banana magazines for 10/22's. I'm also looking for any feedback on their operation/reliability.....or are they just a ticket to a jamtastic good time like the drum mags ?

Get Butler Creek Steel Lips, not Ram Line!!!

Those Ramline mags are garbage. I had 2 and promptly returned them for BC Steel Lips. Avoid them unless you like messing with your mag rather than shooting.

Agree that the Ramline 50 and 30 rounders are garbage. I have 2 of the 50s and 3 30s and they all have issues. The Butler Creek steel lips are the best out there IMO. Well other then the original Ruger 10 round mag. I also have a 25 rounder from Eaton Supply Inc that works pretty good to but Im not sure if they still make them.

Ok....so the Promag 50 round drums are junk...the Ramline 50 rounders are junk. Those crank up deals with the belt feed inside are junk. Are there ANY 50 round mags that are ok, or is everything junk ?

None that I have seen. There was a CGNer that did a range test video with all the 50 rounder and 25 rounders a while back. He tried his hardest to get the 50 rounders to feed properly but they would keep jamming. The TI 25 rounders and BC steel lip 25 rounders performed well. I will see if the video is still around.

Some quick reviews I read about the 50 rounders...

If you want to spend alot of money, then wait eagerly for it to come in the mail, then it gets there and it works about as good as a HiPoint with a busted feed lip.

I bought one of these and it jammed after every shot and destroyed the bullets. I was lucky and got ahold of someone at promag. They told me" you must have gotten one of the old ones send it back and we will replace. It cost me $12 to send it back and they did send me another one but I could not even get it to load more than 1 round. Tension release did not work.

50 round drum and mag tests

In a comprehensive test on new 10/22 products I have now run between 30,000 and 50,000 rounds through various products including magazines. The ProMag 50rd drum was the single worst product in all of testing. I puchased a pair to be fair. They both did not make it through one loading without malfunctioning.

DO NOT BUY

I should have read the reviews before I bought two of these pieces of junk. One of them will not even lock into my gun unless I hold the action open, then my action will not even close. The second one goes in but the metal lip on the clip makes every round jam. Does the manufacturer even try it in a gun to make sure there product works? DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
