I skipped over this thread three of four times now in the last couple days, am glad I read it now. It truely does shock me that there are still people out there willing to go the extra mile for someone they don't even know. I recent had a gentleman (who can come forward if he wants) import a gun part for me, would have been next to impossible for me to import it myself, but after asking about where to get this specific piece he PMed me, said that he would import it himself, the only catch was it would take a few months. Now this being the internet, was there a bit of apprehention on my part? Sure there was, I mean to willingly give someone close to $400 was a shot in the dark, but he came through for me, kept me updated monthly on the progress and am more then happy to say, it is in the country! It is not in my possession yet, but I have no doubt it will be and I am by no means in any hurry for it.
Now, to call this "an act of kindness" is by far an understatement, even saying that they've gone the extra mile doesn't seem like enough either, but the fact that there are still those that are more then willing to help a complete stranger find something they're looking for when they are unsure of where to start, I find it rather... inspiring
