I would have no problem with a 243 that shot consistently under 0.2 @100M. Would give me a reason to sell the 30 barrels in my safe that don'tLol, don't do it JEC, you will leave with a rifle... that's exactly what happened to me. Tried out a loaner and couldn't give it back as it was the best shooting rifle I'd ever touched, or even seen.
The rifles are world class for sure, but Furtaker is too modest, he can also crank out groups like a freaking robot.
Make the trip, it will certainly raise your eyebrows, furry has a direct line to the best and brightest in the North American precision rifle scene. Don't let his casual correspondence on cgn fool you, there's some high level stuff going on there.
Was rifle i built while in Georgia with Robert Gradous. Surgeon 591 with a heavy brux 7 twist. First 3 down the barrel after a few foulers were .063 and it has been a demon since day one..love the little 243 but i know the 6 xc we built for prs comps in Washington in april seem to be doing well too. Can routinely plant 7 under the head of a deck screw...sub .128 ". At 1115 m they can post 3 inch groups. Very fortunate to have learned from one of Americas best we feel. Anytime ya wanna shoot it swing on by dude...i see your in alberta as well so never that far away. Ammo is always loaded up for a free moment to sneak out of the shop not that a gun guy needs an excuse to get out shooting
i know some words are kinda big Jerry so i will explain...Routinely doesnt mean all day...k
And when you say "We" i assume you finally got on the list and arent on the waiting list any longer...good stuff for you but i think a lot of other smiths have the F class scene covered so we will stick to our tactical working guns. Accuracy of the guns will be all i need to be on a map if that is even important and not acknowledgment on your behalf. You best just stay in your little pond where your safe and keep the posts coming..11,646 is just around the corner..you go little guy.
