Just my thoughts....
Unless you rebarrel with a 28 inch barrel you would not gain much velocity over the .257 Weatherby as it is now.
The factory .257 Weatherby chamber would also require setting the barrel back about 1/2 inch so the fat shoulder of the .257 would get cleaned up by the slightly less fat STW... other wise you will probably end up with a weird looking fired case.

I appreciate the thoughts unlike many others I have shot & chronographed many quarter bores & I know what they can do when put together properly, but I am still in need of a good smith with access to a quality 25 STW reamer.Thanks
