Looking for a black hunting rifle

I'm looking for a 1st hunting rifle that could be fitted with a CAR type stock (4/6 position AR stock).

Something classy, as I can't get an AR180b to hunt (caliber restriction for deer).

I saw a 6 position stock for a SKS for 80$ in the US, look nice but Marstar don't have any SKS left...

so? Under 600$ if possible.

Well...you could get an M14S, and then put it in a SAGE/Troy/Marstar chassis, then fit it with an M4 type stock.

The problem is that you're looking at at least $1200 after you pay for rifle, chassis, buttstock, and pistol grip.

That may also be a bit on the heavy side.

On the positive side, .308 is more than enough for deer.
