Caesar Guerinis appear to almost nonexistent.

Does anyone know of a retailer who has a LH Sporter, new or used, any model, in stock?

Nothing at the Gun Dealer or Al Simmons.

Thanks

I bought one on gunbroker or gunsamerica and had it imported through Prophet River in Lloydminster. That could be another option.

Could be an option. New in US is $$$. US retail is several hundred higher than here.

What did you get? I have a Summit Trap and love it, but would prefer an Impact. A shooting buddy in Maine has one and it feels perfect.

I had bought a 20 ga Summit Limited sporting. It was a demo. I could not find any in Canada for a decent price. If you look for a slightly used one and you are patient you may end up with a very good deal. I had also the 12 ga Summit Limited Sporting and put about 25-30000 rounds through it in 7 years and never had a glitch. It shot so well. I sometimes regret selling it.

Try wetaskiwin Canadian tire in alberta they are a Caesar dealer

.... and so much more. Martin is stocked with very nice shotguns that you would never associate with a Canadian Tire. He is also a clays competitor with product and sport knowledge that you would also not associate with Canadian Tire. One of Alberta's hidden treasures.

What is the story on these Canadian tire stores in the Edmonton area?

I walked into the south common store in Edmonton, apparently the largest in Canada, and looked at a Caesar and a now discontinued DT-10 B gun. Both Sporting models.

The gun counter person..an Australian on a work visa.....said the Ontario owner wanted to sell high end shotguns in the store.

I have not seen any high end gun at the place more recently.....Back to Prophet River.

In Wetaskiwin, the high end guns were not on display with other firearms. Seen by appointment only. Worth booking.

Last summer they had about 20 higher end clays guns, including CG, Blaser and Perazzi. The prices were very good as well.He didn;t have the particular shotgun I wanted, or I would have purchased from him.

Hero's Arms (Taylor Buckner, interesting guy that used to teach at Concordia in MTL, worth a Google) in Vermont has a few left hand CG's in stock. He's good to deal with and uses Leroy's/Prophet River to import

Thanks for all the input. MDC were able to dig up a Maxum Impact Sporting. A bit more bling than I was looking for, but Justin at the Gun Dealer got me a killer price on it. Should have it in a day or so. I love my Summit Trap but it's just too heavy for Sporting.

I'm heading to YEG in a few days, do you have to book with anyone in particular for a look at the high end guns? PM me if you want.

There may be others who have access, but Martin Leclercq is the store manager, a sporting clays competitor and very helpful and honest. Sorry - stupid question - YEG?

Sorry to take so long getting back, thanks for the info.

Airports all have an identifier code and as stubblejumper said, that one is Edmonton. Actually, the code is CYEG but most folks drop the C since it's just the designation for Canadian airports. US airport id's start with K and Pacific airports start with P, etc, etc.
I was trying to be like the cool folks! :)

Powell River B.C.???? And they are going to sell high end CG, Blasers and P guns from that CT location. This I have to see. Powell River is a logging town, and the local talent's version of sporting clays is shooting bobbing seal heads and pesky black bears who bit into their case of Luck Lager cans ( hearsay and conjecture only).

I love fishing out there.

Think of what the humidity change on that beautifully fitted shotgun wood from being stored in dry dusty Alberta and moved to a humid ocean front location. Yikes!!!!

There has to be more of a story about those shotguns than what has been posted on the forum. Just think about it.

P.S. I am pro logger all the way.
