Looking for a clip for a Winchester, .308, Model 88 - Lever action.

Hello everyone - I'm a "Newbie" (so my Profile tells me !!!)
New to Gunnutz - I was told about the site from a friend.

I have a nice (old) Winchester, .308, lever action, model 88 that's been a great deer and moose rifle.
(It was a hand-me-down from my Grandfather.)
I do have one clip for the rifle, but I was looking for another as a spare for hunting.
Winchester stopped making them some time ago.
Anyone out there know where I may find one ??
(I know - it'll be pricey !!!!)

Those magazines are getting harder to come by and are rather expensive nowadays. I'm sure that the 88 takes the same mag as the model 100. Wisners was still selling them a little while ago.
 
Welcome to the site. Your best bet would be gun shows. failing that you could request access to the EE (Equipment Exchange) and post a WTB looking for an additional Magazine.
