I have been searching through older threads looking for a club to join. Pretty much anything I take a look at seems to be not accepting members, especially without a current member helping you get in.
I am living in Mississauga, and am not opposed to driving to a further location (1 hour each way, over 2 probably not). My goals are to shoot some trap, and I would love access to some long range rifle. Galt seemed like the perfect option, but from what I have read, there is a better chance of the freeze ending than me being able to join.
I especially would like to hear from people who have recently joined a club.

I have checked them out, and unfortunately the web site says membership is closed, and also notes "New members are typically by referral by existing members"
