As the title says, I am looking for a drill without any runout in the chuck so to speak.
Right now in my forster trimming stations, it drives me nuts to see the small wobble going on.
When I insert a long allen key into them you definitely can see that the chuck isn't concentric.

Here are brands I have tried so far :
18V Milwaukee fuel, my work drill, perfect 100% concentricity, way too heavy for this job.
12V Ridgid, wobbles...
12V Ryobi, wobbles...
12V Milwaukee, wobbles...

At work we only use milwaukee 18V fuel, it’s more than propper for heavy duty daily use.
Still the 12V fuel doesn’t spin concentric.
I will give the Makita a try tough, that’s the one you use and it spins straight?

Still big and fat (18V)
I do have ab 18V that doesn’t wobble, but when running the forster trimming station I feel like I can’t let it go and rest on the forster shaft.

I’ll give Dewalt and Makita a try.
I’ll do like I did with my recent Ridgid, try them and if they wobble send them back.
Just had a thought that my good government is making stores refuse returns for this 1/2 lockdown 2.0

At work tools vary between Rigid, Craftsman, Milwaukee, dewalt, makita and mastercraft.

The high end Dewalt do a good job, and i just got a fuel m18 drill and its good, but i find the chuck teeth dont have enough grip. The others i have used all had wobble

In my experience Milwaukee cant hold a square tap type bit if the chuck isnt brand new when working with metal surfaces. I have to tap Large machinery down to the floor and it slips very frequently when i use oil and drill closest to the tap size i can.

We used to burn power drills once every 6-8 months.
From improper use, but improper use is the way to save lot’s of time.

Each 2 years we try another brand.
Went from Dewalt, Hilti, Makita and now Milwaukee.
They all burned in the 6-8 month timeline, except for the milwaukee.

Our 6x Milwaukee fuel 18V sets are 2 years old, record longevity for us, still running strong and never smelled like burn!
Milwaukee may not be perfect in other aspects, but they survive our unreasonable requirements without dying all the time!

What are you using to grasp the case rim and then chucking in a drill. A ding in the rim or the case being off center in what is grasping the rim will cause the wobble.

My Lee case holders will cause wobble but my Sinclair case holder centers the case on its primer pocket. Its not the drill jaws that cause the wobble it is what is holding the case rim and if the case is centered and not tilting.

It is very easy to get the case off center with the Lee case holder.

To be honest I had not (and still don’t) get the reference
I regularly lube my stomach with Gin (not Rum as it makes me loud and unpleasant), it is not me inducing the wobble!
