Is there any police buy back glocks on the Canadian market? I have been following the EE and other spots looking to make a purchase of a used glock. While there is plenty of people selling Glocks, it seems to be basically they're looking for retail less the tax for guns that they admit to being second or even third owners of.If you follow internet gun auctions in the states the going rate for a used 17 in average condition is $350.00 USD Am I missing something here?I would think the per capa demand would be about the same each side of the border. Enligthen Me. John

Not in canada. The only real used market is post-consumer market. In the states they treat guns like cars. Here it's to highly regulated to auction off police models etc. AFAIK.

Besides. police models are all .40cal so they can get beat up pretty badly. You can always go down, buy one and then go through the rigamarole of importing it through one of the site sponsors.

You can get a pretty good price if you are law enforcement, military, etc. Night sights gen 4 a little over 600 plus tax brand new.

for civilians used glocks are running around, +/- $50

G17 gen 3.5 $600
G17 Gen 4 $650
G34 Gen 3.5 $700
G19/G26 Gen 2/3 $850
G21/G20 Gen 3 $675
G21 Gen 4 $725

some of the best deals going right now is an influx of the G22 Gen3 RTF2 w/gills at right around $600 brand New from several dealers.... that is cheaper then most used G17's are going for right now and they have the best of the gen 3.5 pistols with a similar texture as gen 4 guns.

I also see questar has new G19/g26 gen4's in stock for I believe $999 with the lone wolf barrel....

It's illegal for any Canadian public agency to sell surplus or trade in firearms on the civllian market. Any such firearm must be destroyed. Try Police Ord, they advertise demo guns from time to time.

most of the police trade in guns that police ord. is selling are USA in origin...
