Looking for a flashlight mount for ar 15

I was recently lucky enough to find a member of CGN that wanted to sell his Colt Canada SA15.7 that has had zero shots fired. I bought it as I love these types of AR's and wanted to buy either a CC or a Daniel Defense for my next AR.
I tried to put my Elzeta flashlight mount on it and discovered that the slot between the outside of the barrel and bottom of the a pillar front sight is slightly smaller than any of my other guns. So the mount does not fit. I really like the feel of the magpul moe hand guard so that is what I put on. So I Am looking for a mount and flashlight to put on this hanguard/ gun. I am also left handed and would like the mount to be on the 1 pm position of the barrel ( right hand side when looking down the barrel of the gun at the target).
Any suggestions? I tried searching in here but didn't come across much.

I have a scope ring (I think it's 1") that mounts on a picatinny rail. You can get rail sections that mount on the MOE handguard anywhere there is a slot for it.

My favourite flashlight brand is Streamlight. They may not be everything a Surefire is but they are much cheaper and work fine.

Oh and you may have wanted to post this in the regular blank and green rifle forum. This one is for precision rifles and a not a lot of people have lights on those. That said I actually know someone who had one on his custom precision rifle for coyote hunting.

Oh there's also the triad type mounts, either the real deal issued ones or cheaper versions. I have used those too and they work.

I did find a decent streamlight for pretty cheap in a package deal with an ambidextrous mount. They just don't ship to canada. I will have to figure that part out now I guess.....
